This Japandi-style renovation in Petaling Jaya breathed new life into a 25-year-old home, blending the simplicity of Japanese design with the warmth of Scandinavian aesthetics. Working within the existing structure, we focused on preserving the home’s character while introducing a calmer, more functional layout suited to modern living. The result is a space that honors the house’s history while feeling completely renewed — proof that an older Petaling Jaya home can be transformed into a serene, contemporary sanctuary without losing its soul
